ABOUT THE COURSE:
In this workshop you will explore printing lino intaglio as well as relief. You will consider the link between mark making in drawing and the marks and cuts possible in lino, the difference between using traditional lino and japanese vinyl and how different marks/cuts respond to intaglio techniques, various ways of relief rolling and a combination these.
ABOUT THE TUTOR:
Tonia Maddison has an MA Fine Art. She studied printmaking at London College of Communication, University of the Arts London and Winchester School of Art. She has been Printmaking Artist in Residence at South Hill Park Arts Centre and has several years of experience teaching printmaking.
