Cathy has been a member of the GPC for about ten years and has immersed herself in the study of stone and plate lithography. She has taught courses in these at the GPC. Cathy also draws, paints and uses mono printing to further her love of drawing/image making.
In the Summer of 2018, she spent a month training at the Tamarind Institute of Lithography, New Mexico. The experience of the landscape of the Midwest combined with working within a group of likeminded artist/ printmakers was an invaluable adventure for her. Whilst she was there, she gained more lithographic skills and shared creative ideas and support from the group of international artists.
Cathy also runs classes for children and adults in monoprinting and drawing.
She has exhibited widely and regularly takes part in the Stroud Valleys Open Studio and GPC group shows.
