ABOUT THE COURSE:
During the 6 sessions of the course you will learn how to etch, print and develop your images using zinc plates with both Ferric salts and Nitric acids. The course will cover hard & soft grounds, and a variety of different ways to use aqua tint including spit bite and sugar lift. During the course you will learn to use the etching presses and other studio equipment correctly. The course is suitable for beginners and those who would like to experiment and develop their etching skills, under Christine’s guidance.
ABOUT THE TUTOR:
Christine Felce has a BA in Fine Art & Printmaking from Cardiff and an MA in Film Making from the Royal College of Art. Experienced in traditional etching , screen printing, block printing & collograph, she has taught at West Dean College, Chinese Islington Association in London New Brewery Arts Centre Cirencester and internationally. Her most recent project was an art installation titled “R is for Revolution at the Museum in the Park, Stroud that was printed at the GPC with Rachel Oram.

Terms and Conditions:
Bookings are only confirmed on receipt of the full cost of the course. The balance must be paid 28 days before the course starts. If full payment is not made, you risk losing your place & you will not be allowed to start the course.
The sum of £50, will be lost If you cancel at short notice (less than 2 weeks before the course start). If your place cannot be filled, no monies will be returned
