GPC 20 Years Celebration

We are delighted to announce a series of events to celebrate 20 years of the Gloucestershire Printmaking cooperative in Stroud.

We will start our celebrations with an Exhibition of our current Members Prints at the Museum in the Park, Stratford Park opening on the 14th March running until the 26th April.

The work will be based around responses to the Museum Collections and the exquisite gardens and arboretum please see their website for opening times and details.

During our show at the Museum we will have some of our Printmaker Tutors delivering workshops – this will include a Collagraph Workshop with Jane Sasanow, Wood Engraving With Peter Collins, Printing Tree rings with Charlie Ash and drop Print Workshops for kids with Philippa Thomas & Hector MacInnes.

We are excited to announce too we will host a Print Fair on Sat 18th & Sun 19th April  – with over 20 stall holders showing & selling their Prints, this will be a fantastic event with specialist stalls & guest food & drink vendors.

We have had a huge number of applications from some fantastic makers this will be a truly eclectic event with quality work from Printmakers around the region. Applications are now closed and entrants will be informed if they have secured a place by the end of January.

Running almost alongside our exhibition, & events at the Museum in the park we will also have a wonderfully curated exhibition from a number of our members showing a diverse range of Printmaking at the Tetbury Goods Shed from Wednesday 15th April – 25th May.

Later in the Year we will be exhibiting at Lansdown Hall & Gallery 8th – 14th September with Prints & evening Talks, and we will finish off the year with a fundraising cut price Print Sale, “What’s in yer Drawers? in December at the Printmakers Gallery at GPC.
