Using the Studio for Editioning
We do not offer editioning for non-members of the GPC.
If people want help editioning prints (defined by the production of 2 or more prints using technical support) they need to take out GPC Occasional User Membership (£8 per month) for a minimum of 3 months or be a Full Member (£40 per month) and pay the fees outlined below.
COSTS
The GPC will charge the member a studio fee £100 per day for use of its facilities when employing someone for editioning.
(in addition to the sessional rate of £20 for Occasional users – £0 for Full Members).
The member being employed will charge between £25 – £35 per hour for editioning (at members discretion).

Using the studio for Commercial Work
Commercial printing is not permitted at GPC
Exceptions may include Specialist Fine Art Print projects requested by non-members, these must be negotiated and approved by the Committee & Administration and will incur editioning & members fees – please contact info@gpchq.co.uk directly, before making arrangements.
Using the studio for Private Tuition
If a member wishes to offer private tuition, the tutee must also take out GPC Occasional User membership for a minimum of 3 months.
COSTS
The GPC will charge the tutor a studio fee of £50 per day for the use of its facilities for one-to-one teaching. (Any more than one person is considered a class see below and should be agreed with admin in advance).
Tutors will charge between £25 – £35 per hour for tutoring (at tutor’s discretion).
* The studio may not be used by non members unless they are working with a member as below, (see family/friends section) or have been a course participant within the last month, i.e. for catch up/extension sessions at tutor’s discretion.
GROUPS
The GPC will charge the tutor a studio fee of £100 per day for the use of its facilities for groups up to 6. (Any more than one person is considered a class and should be agreed with admin in advance).
Tutors will charge between £25 – £35 per hour for tutoring (at tutor’s discretion).
Larger numbers will incur additional charges, technical support and would need to be negotiated with Admin.
Using the studio with Technical Help / or for Mentoring
Existing members may be able to offer technical support. This is entirely at the discretion of members, has no fee attached and we do encourage members to share skills and give free demonstrations and work alongside new members.
If you are mentoring – this must be limited to one to one, and you must ensure you book sufficient space (additional presses, for example) and be considerate of other users.
Using the studio with a member – Friends and Family
Full members can bring friends and family into the studio to work alongside them, for an additional studio fee as per occasional user £20 per session.
