I am an artist, tutor and researcher exploring the reciprocal qualities of drawing and etching. Drawing is at the core of my practice, and is given flight by the multitude of techniques available in etching. Reciprocally, my etchings become an extension of my drawing. I attended UWE Bristol, where I completed an MA in Multi-Disciplinary Printmaking. This was followed by my practice-led doctoral research that asked questions of the material and experiential links between etching and drawing. I am an RWA artist network member and a member of Insight Printmakers. I also teach printmaking courses at Gloucestershire Printmaking Co-operative and I write for the RE magazine, Printmaking Today.
