Marcus Delves

Marcus’s work has for a long time had a focus on processes and their results, more recently experimenting with a variety of printmaking. His current work uses multiple steel plates for etching.
He is interested in the intense colour at the edges – a consequence of printing three-etching plates, one over the other. He is working on the resonance of the colours around the boundaries of the final prints.
He studied sculpture at Gloucestershire College of Art & Design for his first degree and many years later, Printmaking at Wimbledon College of Art & Design for an MA.
Marcus has been a member of Gloucestershire Printmakers Cooperative for just over seven years.
